Jefferson Davis Capture Site

The Jefferson Davis capture site is approximitly fourteen miles off of I-75 exit in Irwin County,Georgia. I was surprised at the open fields that are displayed as I drove to the museum. It was open on Sunday. When I arrived at the museum the currator and I were the only ones there, so I had the tour of the place. Admission was four dollars. I placed a free will offering in the collection jar. I had noticed that the grounds and buildiings were nicely kept in good condition. As I left to go outside, I asked the curator to take a photo of me standing by the house. Additionally, there were two other individuals walking the grounds. I went towards the outside monument to Jefferson Davis and sat down in front of the stone monument while the other people walked elswhere. One perosn was wearing a red shirt the other a blue shirt.
