Blue Ash, Ohio cemetery

Enclosed are photos from a visit to the Blue Ash, Ohio cemetery. A name to look for is the Roosa family. This family name will appear in the US #40, National Road cemetery blog post.

Additionally, the Snyder/ Snider family has a rich history as Chaplins during the American Revolution and the Civil War, possibly with the War of 1812, too. I am still learning about this connection.

Greenville, Ohio cemetery

I have invited a historian, David, to attend a visit to the Greenville, Ohio cemetery with me to continiue to explore connections with the trans-Atlantic trade of Europeans to the British colonies. To future my education I have been reading John Johnston and the Indians in the Land of the Three Miamis, by Leonard U. Hill with Recollections of Sixty Years by John Johnston. There is a blend of mixing from the French and Indian War and Philadelphia.

As David and I were examing the gravesites in Greenville, I noticed familiar names from family stories. The dates and names of towns helped put together a time line from pioneer traveling movements to the Western front of the Northwest Territory. General Arthur St. Clair was governor.
